Where to Buy
Types of Rotisserie Ovens

There are several types of rotisserie ovens you can choose from.

Rotisserie Ovens
These ovens are dedicated rotisserie ovens such as the Ronco Showtime Rotisserie Oven.  They often include accessories such as roasting baskets, heating trays to place on top of the oven, and are large enough to roast entire 10 pound turkey.  These run about $100 and up.  Since they are dedicated ovens, most perform well at cooking

Countertop Convection Ovens
These countertop ovens are what you need if you do not have much space in your kitchen.  They will function as an oven, toaster, broiler, baker, and rotisserie.  With the convection feature, a fan in the oven circulates the heat around inside the oven to create even heat around the food.  This feature cooks food 35% faster than non-convenction ovens and makes the food less dry.  They come in different sizes so you will need to make sure to get one large enough to cook the chicken and meat you normally buy.  With the smaller size than dedicated rotisserie ovens, you may have to buy smaller chickens to make sure it has enough room to rotate.

Infrared Ovens
Infrared ovens are more expensive, but by cooking with infrared light, it cooks the food even faster than convection ovens.  The infrared light cooks the inside and outside of the food at the same time.  You can find infrared ovens with rotisserie attachments to get the best of all cooking methods.

Rotisserie Brick Ovens
These ovens are expensive but give you the restaurant flavor cooking in your home kitchen.  The interior of these ovens are linked with brick and allow the oven to heat higher to 500 degrees.  These ovens also usually have the convection cooking feature.  For serious cooks, you may want to explore these types of ovens.
